UPDATE: Iran to release lone female American hikerUpdated at 5:55 p.m. The Associated Press is reporting Iran will release one of three detained hikers -- the only female -- this weekend. The American hikers, including Minnesotan Shane Bauer, have been held in an Iranian prison for more than a year after allegedly crossing the border from Iraqi Kurdistan.
