By doing so, the product would enable pilots, train engineers and truck drivers to pass federal drug tests even though they were users.
As Stephen Sharp, 41, of Port Orange, Florida apologized for this actions of selling the drink powder on the internet, the judge interrupted him and said: "If you think those years were hard, how do you think you would have felt...

Vikings parlay Sage, (cut) Rhys, many on timeThe Minnesota Vikings didn't take the Labor Day weekend off. With a trade of backup quarterback Sage Rosenfels on Friday, followed by the trimming of their roster to the required 53-man limit on Saturday, they greatly changed the look of their team from this spring, and the moves may not be over yet.
There wasn't much room for newcomers on the roster to begin with, as the Vikings are a very deep and talented team, and that may be biggest reason that Rosenfels (with Darius Reynaud) was traded to the New York Giants and that kickoff specialist Rhys Lloyd was a casualty of the cutdown...

Connection between stress and heart attack found in hairStress has long been considered a factor for heart disease but now researchers have found an accurate way to measure it. Researchers at the University of Western Ontario found they can use the amount of cortisol, the stress hormone, in the hair as a way to measure stress levels prior to a heart attack.
The Link between Stress and Hair Cortisol is a hormone that secretes during times of stress. It can be measured in saliva, urine and serum, but that can only tell the stress level at the time it is taken. Hair, however, grows an average of one-half inch per month. A three-inch sample of hair...
Can you balance the Minnesota state budget? So you think you can balance the Minnesota state budget. The Coalition of Greater Minnesota Cities (CGMC) has produced a web tool that you can use to give it a try. And it's an interesting exercise to go through. The budget can easily be balanced by raising taxes and if you are stubborn, you can balance it without a single tax increase.
This is all well and good and attempts to show you the difficult choices that the next governor and our legislators will be facing, but if you look deeper a different story emerges.
In fiscal years 2010-11 the state of Minnesota will spend 30.682 billion...
Favorite road trip signs!Everybody loves a road trip! Ben Ferguson on affirmative actionBoy, I had a hell of a day with KTLK today. While the station often discusses issues I know little about, this topic was right up my alley. Affirmative action was never as heated a debate as one of gay marriage, abortion, or the death penalty, but was enough to get Mr Ferguson all riled up and even interrupting his callers to get his own point across.
For those reading this who aren't as much into politics, affirmative action according to Princeton University online is "a policy designed to redress past discrimination against women and minority groups through measures to improve...

If your desire is to have your children stop eating unhealthy food then remember the first rule: they can't eat what you don't buy. Studies from Mindless...
Cheese Curds, Football and the Turf ClubA gray Friday afternoon yields weather uncharacteristically cool for early September. A group of friends recently home from work, planning on starting the weekend early, and toast the end of the summer. Differing opinions among the group, however, hinders the process. A battle of afternoon activities ensues, going something along the lines of,
“Let’s go to the Groveland Tap.”
“Let’s go to the state fair.”
“…But its cold. And I want a beer.”
“You can get a beer at the fair.”
“It’s not Happy Hour at the fair.&rdquo...
