Boise Fills Bowls for the Hungry

Thousands of Idahoans go hungry every day. Since 1984, The Idaho Foodbank has distributed more than 135 million pounds of food to Idaho families in need, relying on funding through grants, donations and events like Empty Bowls, where bowls hand-painted by artists of all skill levels are available for purchase and can then be filled with hearty soup donated by one of several local restaurants.

Big City Coffee Opens Boise Airport Outpost

Travelers looking for a taste of Idaho need not leave the Boise Airport for a local snack. Big City Coffee , Parrilla Grill , 13 th Street Pub and Grill and Bardenay will all open outposts at the airport by the end of May 2015.

Know this guy? 'Person of interest' in string of car burglaries

Recognize the guy in the photo? Boise Police says he may have information about a series of car burglaries and is described as a person of interest. Witnesses told police that a man was spotted in a parking lot on the 7600 block of west Overland Monday at about 1:54 p.m. looking into cars and checking to see if doors were left unlocked.

Boise Police and Agents with the US Marshal's Service arrested a Nampa man Monday on charges he brutally raped and beat a female under age 16. Due to the violence of the assault and that the suspect befriended the victim on social media, officers fear there may be more victims. Mehmed Halilovic, 20 of Nampa was charged with Lewd Conduct with a Minor.
